The travel section of USA Today has named Yellowstone National Park among its picks for the best summer vacations of 2012. The article selected 10 destinations based on new events and attractions. With Yellowstone turning 140 this year, the article included the nation’s first park on their exclusive list. Among the attractions cited are, in their words, “abundant geysers, hot springs and bears.” Other attractions making the cut are Boston celebrating the 100th anniversary of Fenway Park, Philadelphia with its “Made in America Festival” and other musical events, San Francisco celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge, and several non-domestic destinations.

It's Been A Great Winter

We haven't had as much snow in the Tetons as we normally do, but at 382" with nearly a month to go before the resorts close, it's still been a great season. Spring has definitely arrived and brought with it plenty of sunshine and warm temps, which means summer is just around the corner. It's Almost Ski Season Here In The Tetons

The last few mornings have been pretty cold and the forecast is calling for more snow this week. Both Grand Targhee and Jackson Hole resorts will be open soon.

We are located directly between the two resorts, which make us a perfect place for your base camp in the Tetons. Take advantage of a more centralized location and ski both areas in one trip.

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort

Jackson Hole Ski Area is world renowned for good reason.
